As I was on holiday for the last Spencers Dash in September and have only got this info secondhand - Can someone clear up the Ladies Series winner - it was in the Chron as Julie Buckley a lady veteran - But how could this be right as Wombwell Sporting A.C. Lady Veteran Gail Colville was well in front before the last leg and I do not think Julie did enough in the last leg to catch Gail up
Sorry to be a pain but it would be great to find out if the info in the Chron was correct or not Many thanks , Dave Allemby |

Hopefully the message got across last night to stay on the left hand side going down Cawthorne lane towards the very sharp bend at the bottom -As always a few did not listen - good to see Ann Bennett on the bend telling some to get across
It would be awful for anyone to get knocked down but it could easily happened and stop this great event just before John Wroe and myself reach the 100 Dashes !! |

The results have been scanned but are not very good. I will try to do better for next time. My computing skill is not good. Will get my 6 year old grandaughter to help me
