Several athletes from Barnsley Athletic Club raced in the Doncaster Town Centre 5k races last Wednesday evening. There were also some fantastic PBs for a few of the runners, including some of the recent additions to the club. In the Vets race, results were as follows: 36, Jim Chisholm (2nd V55) 19.01; 66, Lesley Noon (2nd LV40) 20.53; 74, Linda Westlake (1st LV50) 21.39. In the Seniors race, results were as follows: 7, D.Middleton 16.43; 14, Dave Thompson 16.08pb; 19, Scott Bennett 16.32; 31, Gavin Felton 17.25; 45, Melvin Wallace; 18.29pb; 46, Kaeti Mackenzie 18.30pb; 64, Mark Hurrell 19.14; 129, Sarah Hewitt 24.54pb; 146, Lynne Hurrell 28.08; 147, Jill Lovett 28.14pb.
